If you're reading this in Belgium right now, there's a pretty good chance you're wearing sandals. Or sneakers at least. If you're one of the rare souls who has boots on their feet, even though it's 23 degrees & sunny out, please let me know, because: Hi! So am I!
I'm wearing these beautiful, kinda witchy Neosens ankle boots because 1) I adore them, and 2) I have to appear somewhat believable when selling fall/winter shoes in my store. Yes, we're having a crazy long summer, but let me quote some very over-used words and say this: winter is coming! Eventually, that is.
This weird weather situation has only made me appreciate Myrthis customers more: I'm very grateful for the successful open house days last week (despite the unusually high temperatures) and the many enthusiastic comments about our newest sneakers, flat & platform boots, heeled boots and moccasins. One description that always returned was comfy, and that made me especially happy. It's not always easy to find the balance between fashionable and comfortable, and when you find brands that manage to bring these two requirements together in an affordable way... it just feels great. (Yes, I'm looking at you in particular, Woden.)
